STOP SMILING is looking for Field Reps in the following cities:
They should have a working knowledge of the general culture in their respective city: What are the best bookstores? Where are the cool salons and boutiques? They should also have a good sense of when and where readings, DJ nights, concerts, film screenings and other such cultural events occur. We're building this team from the ground up at a time when many print magazines are dying out. We are growing at a steady pace and want to work in tandem with people who can think critically and independently about where STOP SMILING's place is within their city, as well as nationally and internationally. We’re open to hearing creative input from anyone on our team. There is no strict hierarchy, and we firmly believe that good ideas take precedence over position or seniority.
Although it is an unpaid internship, the potential to advance within the company is there, and there are ways to earn money through various incentives. In the past, Field Reps at our Chicago office have received college credit, so if you are a college student, make sure to inquire about that option.
