STOP SMILING celebrated the release of the third-annual 20 INTERVIEWS issue in style on March 19th. Modern furniture retailer Design Within Reach opened up their storefront on North Avenue in Chicago to allow fans and friends of the magazine to mix and mingle, relax among the stylish furnishings, and, of course, take a first look at the new issue, our 38th. The first 25 people got to take home a copy, along with STOP SMILING swag of all kinds, including bookmarks, postcards, matchbooks and coasters.

The new issue features two cover stories: a rare interview with comic legend R. Crumb and an interview with film director David Lynch.
