Logan Square Auditorium

After a long day on the seventh floor of the Merchandise Mart, we figured the art world could use a little loosening up. So we invited some of the top gallery owners, art dealers and artists to chill out in the cavernous ballroom of the Logan Square Auditorium.

We held the revelers at bay until the bands had set up, then opened the floodgates and kicked the night off with a live performance by melodic magicians Pit Er Pat. Afterward, electronic rockers Telefon Tel Aviv took the party late into the night with a mellow DJ set that set us up nicely for bed, in preparation for another day at the booths. Hangovers be damned.
